Stoke on Trent and North Staffs Clinical Commissioning Groups Citizens Jury

Stoke on Trent and North Staffs Clinical Commissioning Groups are currently undertaking a Citizens Jury to investigate

How can access to appropriate Adult Mental Health Services be improved?

The first part of this is to speak to members of the public, people who access services and their carers, to get their views and experiences. We want to hear about people’s experience when they first entered services, how they found out about what services were available, what went well, what could have been better. We also want to hear from people who are currently accessing services, if they feel they are getting appropriate support for their needs and what is good or bad about the mental health system.

Carole, Hilda, Emma, Fiona and Mervyn will be asking people when they visit the different groups that we regularly attend. But if you, someone you know, or someone who accesses your services, would like to speak to us, then please get in touch. All information is completely anonymous, we will just collect some equality information.

We will be gathering people’s views during April and May/June. The information gathered will be used to influence recommendations for improvements or changes to current services – so it’s really important to find out what is working and what is not!
