Change lives. Build futures. Create possibilities.

Are you passionate about helping young people achieve their goals and live life without limits?

At Disability Solutions West Midlands, we're looking for an enthusiastic and committed Equity Support Worker to join our award-winning team and help deliver our Life Without Limits project. The project supports young people with disabilities aged 16 to 25 across Stoke-on-Trent as they prepare for independent living.

This is your opportunity to make a genuine difference every day by helping young people build confidence, develop life skills and make informed choices about their futures.

What you'll do

Working directly with young people aged 16 to 25, you will:

  • deliver person-centred enablement support
  • build positive, trusting relationships with young people
  • carry out assessments and co-produced action planning
  • provide one-to-one mentoring and practical guidance
  • support informed decision-making and independence
  • help deliver engaging workshops and group activities
  • support moves from family homes or local authority care into independent living

Why join us?

This is a rare opportunity. Thanks to our exceptionally low staff turnover, vacancies in our team don't come up often.

For decades, Disability Solutions West Midlands has championed the rights, independence and aspirations of disabled people. You'll be joining a respected, values-led charity, recognised for delivering outstanding services across the region.

  • has experience supporting, mentoring, advising or enabling young people with disabilities
